Covid 19 prevention

Important Ways to Slow the Spread Wear a mask that covers your nose and mouth to help protect yourself and others. Stay 6 feet apart from others who don’t live with you. Avoid crowds and poorly ventilated indoor spaces. Wash your hands often with soap and water. Use hand sanitizer if soap and water aren’t available.

All employees should routinely use appropriate protective clothing to prevent skin mucous membrane exposure when contact with blood or other body fluids of any patients are anticipated. Gloves should be worn for touching blood and body fluids, mucous membrane, or non-intact skin of all patients, for handling items or surfaces soiled with blood or body fluids, for performing venipuncture and other vascular access procedures, and giving injections. Gloves should be changed after contact with each patient.

HIPAA TRAINING

HIPAA Privacy Rule The Standards for Privacy of Individually Identifiable Health Information, commonly known as the HIPAA Privacy Rule, establishes the first national standards in the United States to protect patients' personal or protected health information (PHI). HHS issued the rule to limit the use and disclosure of sensitive PHI. The Privacy Rule also guarantees patients the right to receive their own PHI, upon request, from healthcare providers covered by HIPAA.
